A note from Kurt:
Like we've said before, we aren't the kind to make excuses or sit around and wring our hands. So, with the current and ever-changing rules and regulations we are being faced with due to the current "pandemic", we are formally announcing that this year's Pre-'30 event will offer online bidding only. Illinois has some of the tightest restrictions in the country which is unfortunately dictated by Chicago numbers. Southern Illinois, where we are located, has had very little impact. Nonetheless, we are subject to not being able to assemble a group of over 100 with the threat of revoking our license. Bidding online has always been an option in years past, but we know how you all very much enjoy attending the live aspect of this auction. The camaraderie, my corny jokes and all the other things we look forward too at a live sale, will be missed this year. BUT the show will go on and we're going to bring you a new online bidding experience like you have not seen before! If you are uncomfortable with online bidding, we’re happy to set up phone or absentee bidding as well. Also, we will be hosting two weeks of inspection dates for viewing of ALL items selling prior to the auction and an Open House where we’ll have a lot of it running. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns about bidding, information about a particular item or just some general feedback for us....we always love to hear from ya!
Inspection Days:
June 1-12, 2020 - 9am-4pm
Our doors are open for two whole weeks for you to come and inspect EVERYTHING we have to offer at the Pre-30 Auction. All literature, parts, implements and most importantly, the tractors will be out on display. Come and spend a few hours or the entire day with us on your schedule, when you want to!
Open House and Watch ‘em Run!
June 5-6, 2020 - 9am-4pm
For two days, we’ll have staff on the ground ready and willing to answer any and all questions you might have. We’ll be starting and running most of the tractors, some of the engines and will have all of the parts and literature on display. If you are uncomfortable attending in person we will be streaming the open house live on Facebook. We’ll also do live video streams of individual tractors or engines as requested.
We’re going to try and have enough exhaust in the air to kill any Coronavirus that may decide to show up!
Social distancing will be respected, hand sanitizer will be on-site and masks are welcome if you choose to wear one.
